This adorable endless arcade hopper game has over 200 million players worldwide. A massive viral hit, you can collect custom characters, navigate freeways, railroads, rivers and so much more.

The premise of the game is simple, you jump across different platforms and if you don’t move fast enough, you get smacked. The game has a competitive feel as you can also play against friends and see who’s the better hopper!

2. Fruit Ninja

If you haven’t played Fruit Ninja, you’re seriously missing out. It’s one of the most well-known mobile games out there (and most don’t know it’s Australian-made) that’s incredibly addictive. In this game, you finger’s essentially a sword and the goal is to slice up as much fruit as you can while avoiding bombs.

It might seem like a simple concept, but there’s plenty to unlock and different modes to play through. For some reason, it’s also incredibly satisfying and therapeutic to slice through different types of fruit and make fruit combos on your mobile screen.

3. Earn To Die 2

If you’ve ever played Earn to Die 2, you know how this game works. Essentially, you’ll be driving a car through a zombie apocalypse in order to survive! It’s an incredibly popular game that’s easy to get your head around.

You can also unlock lots of cars in this game and there’s plenty of upgrades to keep things refreshing.

4. Jetpack Joyride

Jetpack Joyride is as insane as it sounds. You’ve got everything from bullet-powered jetpacks to giant mechanical dragons but it’s exceedingly fun. This particular game is from the same makers as Fruit Ninja, and it’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

With this game, you’ll be joining Barry Steakfries and riding crazy vehicles to beat scientists to the end of the lab. Get ready for plenty of high-tech gadgets and power-ups, daring missions, customisations and so much more.

5. Duet

Duet isn’t your typical game. It’s mysterious and yes, it’s incredibly difficult, but yet for some reason you’ll just want to keep playing. The game itself is silky smooth, simple to learn, but hard to master.

The rules are simple: you’ll control two vessels in sync and you’ll need to survive against all odds. The game has great music, design and exceptional narration, but you’ll need to think outside of the box to beat this game in its entirety.

6. Puzzle Retreat

We’re constantly recommending this game to others and I’m not even usually a fan of puzzle games! Everyone we’ve recommended this game to are now converts as it’s one of the most intuitive puzzle games available.

Available on both iOS and Android, you’re a zen puzzler where your job is to fill squares on a grid by sliding ice around it. It’s incredibly compelling - to the point where we’re having trouble not buying an expansion pack.

7. Train Conductor World

By the same studio that created Puzzle Retreat, in this game you’ll have to keep trains from crashing into each other by assigning them tracks as you see them chug along the screen.

In Train Conductor World, you’ll be conducting and controlling the trains and watching your rail network grow. You’ll need to be quick on your feet and do what you need to keep the chaos under control. We definitely had some sweaty palms from playing this game, but it’s well worth it.

8. The Gardens Between

A single-player adventure-puzzle game, The Gardens Between has stunning graphics that’s unlike anything we’ve played before in a puzzle game. It’s also got a lovely heartwarming story about time, memory and friendship.

The game is a masterpiece that’s impeccably crafted and in the game you’ll be manipulating time to solve puzzles. You’ll get to follow the duo as they unpack and explore the area while learning more about their personal story. With a relaxing, ambient soundtrack, it’s no wonder this game has won numerous awards.
